I just learned of Mike's passing from a neighbor. I am in shock. I live across the street from Mike. I moved here about 3 yrs ago. He was always very friendly to me and would always offer any help or tools if I needed them. He always had a positive attitude and a smile whenever I would talk with him. You can tell he enjoyed taking care of his home just by the work that was done to it and how he took care of it. I am very sorry for your loss. He will surely be missed! God bless you all!

So sorry about Mike. I have such wonderful memories of him.Specially when we were kids.Playing hide and seek, kickball, playing army, cowboys and so on. So many kids were in the neighborhood, and everyone seemed to get along. Mike stood by me in a very bad time in my life. Mike was a good person. He made things nicer for many people. I pray he rests in the peace of Christ, and for those he left behind.

Just thought I would leave a simple message of condolence for your family. My two cousins were Tonawanda Policemen. Don't know if they are retired by now or what. Names were Tom Johnston and Dan Johnston. I did security work for about 11 years so you get to know some of the police in that field of work any way. U.S. security and Securitas and my last job was the mall. I use to eat at Manzella's once in a while also on Delaware Avenue when I lived in the city for about 30 years. My dad owned that meat store on Englewood Avenue and Starin called Chippewa Meat's remember that?? Right next to The Rohner's Spudnut doughnut shop. My cousins use to work with me at that time. My good friend also for years was Peter Scaccia from the Sheriff's department. He passed away now about 6 months ago. Take care and I just want you all to know that someone was thinking about your family and the Tonawanda Police department..........RJH III

So sorry to hear about Mike’s passing. I’ll remember him as a man on the move. He stopped by our house to see Unreal Neil on a regular basis, always bringing coffee and after discussing golf, politics, etc and then he would be on his way to his next stop. He left this world too soon, hopefully your memories of all the cherished times will help family and friends deal with his passing. ❤️
