Albanese, Giuseppina "Pina" (nee Muscarella) - March 19, 2017 - Beloved wife of the late Filippo "Pino" Albanese. Loving mother of Rosalia "Roe" (Richard) Kirwan and Joseph (Tunde) Albanese. Caring grandmother of Sean(Tara) and Michael Kirwan and great grandmother of Kaylee and Sophie Kirwan. Daughter of the late Biagio and Giuseppina Muscarella. Sister of Angelo (Eileen) Muscarella, Nancy (Nunzio) Truscello and the late Charles (Carmela) Muscarella, Sylvestre Muscarella and Concetta (Michael) Collana. Sister in law of Philomena Muscarella, Ninfa Albanese and the late Anna (Peter) DiSalvo, Michelangelo (Maria) Albanese, Francesco and Rosa Albanese. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. 911 Englewood Ave. on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM and Friday from 3 to 7 PM. Prayers to be said at the Funeral Home on Saturday at 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Church (1085 Englewood Ave.).
