Zablotny, Joseph (American Flag) - February 20, 2017 - Beloved husband of the late Dorothy M. "Dodie" (nee Stumm) Zablotny. Devoted father of Karen (Daniel) Bumbernick, David (Anne) and Kenneth (Cindy) Zablotny. Loving grandfather of Monte, Joseph, Sarah (Andrew), Mark (Kerri), Jennifer (Brendan), Matthew and Angela and great grandfather of Benjamin, Lyla and Pierce. Dear brother of Florence (late Robert) Smith, Dolores (late Arthur) Pogorzala and the late Henry (Loretta) and John (Claire) Zablotny. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. 911 Englewood Ave. Friday from 2-7 PM. Where funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church (1085 Englewood Ave.) at 9:30 AM . Joe was a proud veteran serving as a Corporal in the Army Air Force, World War II and enjoyed a 43 year carrier at Midland Asphalt in Tonawanda.
