Bruce, Alan K. - (American Flag) - February 16, 2017 - Beloved husband of Frances R. (nee Holland) (formerly McLean) Bruce and the late MaryAnn (Hale) Bruce. Loving father of Jennifer A., Nancy V. (Mark Aspery), Andrew D. (Ellen) and Pamela L. (Jack) Hornung. Step-father of James (Laura) McLean and Jeanne (Glenn) Wilson. Dear grandpa of Daniel C. and Megan M. Crowley, Sara E. Daly, Nathan A., Natalie E. and Elyza H. Bruce, Emily R. and Lindsey G. Hornung, Ryan J. and Julia M. McLean and Anna M. and Jacob R. Wilson. Brother of the late Donald M. Bruce. Brother in law of Barbara A. Bruce. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 911 Englewood Ave. for Memorial Visitations on Sunday from 1 to 4 PM. All are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. John the Baptist Church (1085 Englewood Ave.) on Monday at 9:30 AM. Please assemble at Church.
