Hechler, Friedrich Emil - September 9, 2016 - Beloved husband of Christa M. (nee Buchholtz) Hechler. Loving father of Michael Friedrich (Debbie) Hechler and the late Heike Hechler Sandlin. Dear grandfather of Joshua and Jeremiah Sandlin and Anna Hechler. Great grandfather of 3. Brother of Friedrich Wilhelm (Sibylle) Hechler. Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Friedrich was an electrician for General Motors for 31 years. He was also an avid outdoorsman and an expert marksman. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. 911 Englewood Ave. for memorial visitations on Thursday from 11:00 to 12:00 PM. Where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM.
