Rung, Robert J. Sr. - (American Flag) - April 20, 2016 - Beloved husband of the late Charlene G. (nee Retzer) Rung. Devoted father of Cathleen (late Harold) Christopher of Leroy, NY, Robert J. (Claire) Rung Jr., Ann (Ed) Kingston of Fort Erie, ON and Patricia (David) Crance of Spencer, NY. Loving grandfather of 10 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Dear brother of Richard (Betty) Rung, Mary Lou (late Richard) Peoples and the late Raymond and Paul Rung. Brother in law of Georgia Rung. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home Inc. 911 Englewood Ave. Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM. Where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11AM and a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Shrine of St. John Neumann Chapel (Englewood and Belmont Aves.) at 11:30 AM.
