Brother of James (Bernadette) Ball, Marilyn Szczap, Barbara Gardner and the late Kathleen Ball. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. 911 Englewood Ave. on Monday from 4-8PM. Where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 8:15AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Leo the Great Church on Tuesday at 9:15AM. William was a retired employee for the City of Buffalo's Streets Department.
