Young, Dorothy E. (nee Hammel) - Age 107 - July 14, 2013 Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Young. Devoted mother of Edward J. (Lois) Young Jr. and Paul A. (Veronica) Young. Loving grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Pre deceased by 4 brothers and 1 sister. Aunt of many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc. 911 Englewood Ave. Thursdays from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where funeral services will be held Friday at 10:15 AM and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church (Englewood Ave.) at 10:45 AM. Flowers gratefully declined. Dorothy was a church organist at St. John the Baptist, St. Paul's and St. Timothy's for 50 years.
