Having grown up in North Park Church I've had the joy of knowing many wonderful people over the years. Jim, however, is one for whom I've long had a special fondness and respect for. How great to have had such an influence on so many for so long. My sympathies to all the Mawhinney family. Ned Pitz

Kathleen, your mum and dad were so special! I remember meeting your dad for the first time, he was up early as was I, and he gave me a camping travel guide of the US and we talked about our travels. I hear him talking when I think of him and it brings a smile to my face. Sending my love, xoxoxo

Dearest Kathleen, Tommy, Glenn & Alison,

We are saddened to hear of Jimmy's passing.
Our parents & families shared a wonderful friendship that lasted many decades and those memories will be of comfort. They gave us a stable loving environment to grow up in, and that is something to be thankful for especially during these difficult days.

The pictures are a great reminder of what a gentleman Jimmy was, he will be missed

Sending you all big hugs & much love from Toronto

Mark & Andy
