BOHN - Ronald F. “Jake” - May 20, 2023 - Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee Lucas) Bohn. Loving father of Kimberly (Peter) Rudnicki, Ellen (late Robert) Siegel, William (Jennifer) Bohn and Sarah Bohn. Cherished grandpa of Jessica, Brian, Michelle (Matthew), Lindsay, Caitlyn (Harris), Maxim and Christian. Great grandpa to Christopher. Dear brother of Barbara (late Richard) Rogers, Kevin (Ann), Virginia Bohn, Roger (Sandra), John (Colleen) and the late Kathleen Gallo and Michael and James Bohn. Brother in law of Joseph Gallo and Elizabeth Bohn. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at the C, Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 911 Englewood Ave, on Friday from 4 to 7 PM. All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church, 1085 Englewood Ave. on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Ronald worked for NFTA for many years and was a past Union President, where he fought to secure better benefits for workers. His efforts continue to benefit employees to this day. His passing leaves a profound void in the lives of his of his family and friends, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
