Wells, Rita (nee Hurliman) - March 13, 2023 - Beloved Wife of the late James P. Wells. Devoted mother of Margaret R. Wells (John R. Drexelius, Jr.), Mary J. Wells (Brian A. Kozlowski), Patrick J. Wells (Patricia Hardina), Paul F. (Eve P.) Wells, Seamus M. (Hanh N.) O'Brien and Maureen B. Wells. Loving grandmother of James, Michelle (Jacob), Kathleen (Tarek), Sarah, West, Patrick, Stephen, Ethan, Philip, Natalie, Nathaniel, and Joshua and great-grandmother of Mikala and Caleb. Dear sister of Rosemary (late Vito) Rizzo, Anthony (Catherine) Hurliman and the late Louis Hurliman, Dorothy (Arthur) Gorski and James Hurliman. Sister in law of Ruth Hurliman, Alice (late Raymond) and Robert (late Jacqueline) Wells and the late Daniel (Lorraine) Wells, Mary Ann Hurliman and Lorraine (Robert) Urso. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 911 Englewood Ave. for Memorial Visitations Friday from 4-7 PM. All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church (Englewood Ave.) Saturday at 9:30 AM. Please assemble at church.
