I met Joe several years ago when he operated his computer shop on Main Street in Williamsville. First referred by a friend I ended up have several of my home computers either built or fixed by Joe.

In the years I came to know Joe I found him to always be honest, fair, and best of all, happy. He always made the time to chat as he would explain what I had done to freeze my computer or what I shouldn’t do to make sure I wasn’t infecting it with the latest virus.

He was a kind sole and in a world in short supply of those the result is that his memory will be both a good and lasting one to me.

Rest In Peace, Joe, you’ve earned your reward.

Although heartbreaking that Joe is gone now, I know he isn’t suffering anymore; we can celebrate with the memories we hold inside. I took care of Joe for over a year and we laughed together more than not. On his bad days I could hold his hand letting him know I was there. Joe often asked me how I’m doing or asked where I’ve been which made me feel so good. I know road he was on while in the hospital but I’ll say this; as a caregiver you come across many different types of people and situations only knowing the person at that moment. Most people you forget and then there’s that one you will think about from time to time wondering how they are doing. I know I made a difference in Joes life at that time and I’ll never forget him. Thank you Joe for the memories and the night time MTV shows where we couldn’t stop laughing!!! Nicole, RN
