Obituary for Jacqueline Kraft

Jacqueline Kraft (nee Kazmierczak); Born March 2, 1959, died September 26, 2022. Beloved wife of Michael Kraft and mother of Andrea Kraft. Jackie died peacefully with Hospice at Beechwood Continuing Care after 25+ year battle with rheumatoid arthritis and all the complications that arose. Jackie lived these years fearlessly, without complaint and on her own terms. Jackie was born in Buffalo, NY. She graduated from Mount Saint Joseph Academy High School, then went onto pursue her Bachelor of Nursing Degree from D’Youville College starting her nursing career in the E.R.’s of Mercy & Columbus Hospitals. For 35 years, Jackie was a Critical Care Nurse in the Coronary Medical Intensive Care Unit at Buffalo General Hospital.
Jackie is survived by Michael, her husband of 29 years and beloved daughter Andrea, her mother Marcelline Kazmierczak, brothers Michael (Ninka) and Peter Kazmierczak, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Daniel Kazmierczak. Jackie was fun-loving and enjoyed adventures, despite her challenges. Her laugh was infectious, and she just loved being around people and the water. She cherished their summer home and time at Holloway Bay, Ontario. Jackie enjoyed boating & spent many wonderful days on the family sailboat . Jackie also enjoyed sitting poolside at the Buffalo Yacht Club, doing all sorts of crafts, was an avid shopper and just an all-around great and loving friend to many. She will be missed but remain forever jubilant in our hearts. Her family will be eternally grateful for the excellent care provided to Jackie by the entire Beechwood Continuing Care community & the many dedicated physicians and hospitals who provided loving and generous care. All are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 1085 Englewood Ave. Friday, September 30th at 9:30 AM.
