Joan and I have been friends for a lot of years. I cannot remember when Joan joined our Singles Club at the Tonawanda Senior Center but I do remember she was a member when I was President of the Singles Club. Joan volunteered to take care of putting out our bake goods at our Club for the past several years with another lady. We also bowled together with a group of seniors from our center at Manor Lanes Monday afternoons. Joan also took time to play bingo at our center every month. She enjoyed going to the Senior Center and being with so many other wonderful people. Joan asked me to go to an occasional Sabre's game with her and I had tickets to the Niagara Regional Theatre Guild on Ellicott Creek Road so we went to see play's there together. Plus sometimes when we had time, we would have dinner together. We had a lot of fun together. I had been thinking about Joan so much recently and now I know why. Joan will be missed not only by me but also by so many people in our Senior Center. Rest in Peace, Joan. Love, Nancy Pilon
