Wienclawski, Elmer F. (American Flag) - April 19, 2022 - Age 102 - Beloved husband of 76 years to Amelia G. (nee Boblak) Wienclawski. Loving father of Ellyn (James) Duprey, John (Alyson), Andrea (Dick) Rea and the late Paul Wienclawski. Cherished Grandpa of James (Christy) Duprey, Michele (Scott Suchowolec) Duprey, Ian (Beth) Wienclawski, Kristen (Scott) Cimino, Amy (Brian) Hartnett, Evan Rea and Erik (Snehata) Wienclawski. Great Grandpa of 12 great grandchildren. Predeceased by three brothers and one sister. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 911 Englewood Ave. on Wednesday, April 27th from 4 to 7 PM. All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church (1085 Englewood Ave.) on Thursday, April 28th at 10:45 AM. Please assemble at church. Elmer served our Country as a member of the US Army during World War II and briefly during the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the Brighton Volunteer Fire Company for over 62 years and was a past President of the Tonawanda VFW Post.
