Oakes, Donald - April 22, 2023 - ( American Flag) Beloved husband of the late Linda A. (nee Denzel) Oakes. Loving father of Jeffrey S. Oakes and Elizabeth (fiancé Benjamin Cohen) Mamot. Cherished grandfather of Jeffrey Adam, Allyce, Baylie, Noelle, Jared and Keira. Dear brother of James (Roseann) Oakes. Brother-in-law of Michael (Jane), Donald (Virginia), Wende (Christopher) Hyers and the late Joseph Denzel. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends especially Gary Lubstorf, Corey Mamot and Dennis Newman. The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 911 Englewood Ave. on Friday, May 5th from 11 AM to 1 PM. Where a Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1 PM. Burial to follow at Acacia Park Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will take place later that day from 3PM to 6PM at Sheridan Park Fire Company.
